All women and trans-identified people are welcome to join us!
First, join our listserve and hear about impromptu rides, fun events and to be apart of PPS planning. To join click here: http://groups.google.com/group/pedalpushersociety
Secondly, we’ve got a monthly ride on the first Wednesday of every month. Meet us at Stonefly Brewery, 735 E. Center Street in Milwaukee. Meet at 6:30 for drinks and tater tots. The ride departs at 7:00!
Hi ladies. I’d love to become involved with your group. I’ve been meaning to for some time now, and want to make sure to do so before the summer has passed and the cold weather returned! I plan to join you for the next Thurs. night ride. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Hell yah, hope to see you next Thursday for our monthly ride! I just noticed it’s a full moon that night again too!
hi, are you still riding this year? if so, will the next one be on nov. 5 at stonefly? if so, i am in!
are fat girls allowed? how long are your rides?
As a fat girl myself, I can confirm fat girls are most certainly allowed. So get yer (possibly, yet hard to tell from your post) fat ass on down to one of our rides, and make some new small to extra large friends.
To answer your other question, our rides vary in length, but one thing that doesn’t vary is our committment to keeping the group together and supporting all levels of riders throughout our journey.
Hi there,
As a senior at UW-Madison, I am working with Dr. Alison Brooks on a research project studying the bone health of female cyclists. We are currently recruiting volunteers to participate in the study and would greatly appreciate your leadership and involvement with the Bella Donna’s to help enroll several more participants.
Female cyclists may be eligible if they are ages 35-50 and regularly bicycle at least 6 hours or 60 miles per week. If they choose to participate, they will visit the UW-Health Osteoporosis Clinical Center at University Station (2870 University Ave, Madison, WI) for a one hour study visit, in which they will complete a short survey and have their bone mineral density and body composition measured.
Attached is a study information sheet as well as a flyer that provides a description of the study in more detail. I would greatly appreciate if you or I could somehow distribute this information to your club members, perhaps via email, on a website, newsletter, facebook page or any other methods of social media that the organization utilizes. Please let me know if you have other ideas in how I can spread word of the study to riders in the area, or if you know of other cycling clubs or organizations that would be beneficial to contact.
For more information, do not hesitate to contact Alison Brooks at (608) 890-9133 or brooks@ortho.wisc.edu, or Rachel Myers at 913-940-2030 or remyers1@gmail.com.
Thank you for your time and any assistance you can provide. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Rachel Myers
